How can you help?

Dad is having to receive replacement blood and platelets every day - sometimes TWICE a day and if anyone is willing to donate in his name we would GREATLY appreciate it!! The only way to donate for him is AT MD Anderson in Houston - there are 2 locations available and making an appointment is STRONGLY suggested- and make sure you specify which location you want to use as the number is the same for both - which is 713-792-7777.
And OF COURSE don't forget to tell them that you are donating specifically for Melvin Larsen and that he is currently inpatient post-stem cell transplant!

Definitely DISCHARGE DAY!

Well the news is official!!! Dad is definitely getting to go home to the condo this evening!!! YAY!!! Thank you all so much for your prayers -please keep them coming to ensure a safe and happy transition!! :)
